Jupiter has unfortunately announced that their drummer DAISUKE will be leaving the band for health reasons after nine years of activity. Below is the English translation of the band’s official statement, along with messages from DAISUKE and Jupiter:
“We would like to inform you that DAISUKE will be leaving Jupiter following the concert to be held on December 23, 2025, at Yokohama ReNY beta, and that he will also be retiring from his career as a professional drummer.”

“This is a sudden announcement, but I have made the decision to leave Jupiter following our concert on December 23, 2025, and to retire at the same time from my activities as a professional drummer.
For about a year now, physical issues have prevented me from playing as I wish. I began feeling their impact even during performances, and I lost the confidence needed to continue touring, both in Japan and abroad. Mentally as well, I found it increasingly difficult to carry on under these conditions, and so I shared my intention to leave the band.
After I expressed my feelings to the other members following the recording of Ecliptic, they told me: “We want to continue with you until the end of the year.”
Their words gave me tremendous support, and it was decided that my departure would take place at the end of 2025.
Only three concerts remain with Jupiter, but I plan to give everything I have until the very last one. I sincerely hope you will continue to support me warmly until the end.”

"C’est une annonce soudaine, mais j’ai pris la décision de quitter Jupiter après notre concert du 23 décembre 2025 et de me retirer en même temps de mes activités de batteur professionnel.
Depuis environ un an, des problèmes physiques m’empêchent de jouer comme je le souhaiterais. J’ai commencé à ressentir leurs effets jusque dans mes performances scéniques, et j’ai perdu la confiance nécessaire pour continuer à tourner, au Japon comme à l’étranger. Mentalement aussi, j’en suis venu à juger difficile la poursuite de mes activités dans ces conditions, et j’ai donc fait part de mon intention de quitter le groupe.
Quand j'ai exprimé mes sentiments aux autres membres après l’enregistrement de "Ecliptic", ils m’ont alors dit : « Nous aimerions continuer avec toi jusqu’à la fin de l’année. »
Ces mots m’ont profondément soutenu, et c’est ainsi qu’il a été décidé que mon départ aurait lieu à la fin de l’année 2025.
Il ne reste plus que trois concerts avec Jupiter, mais je compte jouer de toutes mes forces jusqu’au dernier. J’espère de tout cœur que vous continuerez à me soutenir chaleureusement jusqu’à la fin."
