A new name is set to shake up the visual kei scene: DRUGS. Unveiled on June 17, 2025, this freshly-formed band is already attracting attention, and for good reason: its line-up, which is unexpected to say the least, brings together iconic figures from the scene, known for having made their mark in bands such as Mejibray, DADAROMA, LIPHLICH and Kra.

Dévoilé le 17 juin 2025, ce groupe fraîchement formé attire déjà l’attention, et pour cause : sa lineup pour le moins inattendue qui réunit des figures emblématiques de la scène, connues pour avoir marqué les esprits dans des groupes comme Mejibray, DADAROMA, LIPHLICH ou encore Kra.

DRUGS hit the ground running with their first digital single, “NEW ORDER”, already available on streaming platforms. The track is accompanied by a music video with a psychedelic, disturbing and hypnotic aesthetic, published on their YouTube channel. With its disturbing images and heavy atmosphere, this first video sets the tone for an artistic universe as obscure as it is fascinating.
The band are wasting no time: their first one-man concert, titled “THE DRUGS”, will take place on December 19, 2025 at EDGE Ikebukuro. Tickets are already on sale, and the buzz surrounding the event bodes well for a memorable evening.
An official visual has also been unveiled, true to the band's mood: dark, conceptual and intensely striking.
With a line-up like this, DRUGS promises to be one of the most intriguing revelations of the year, and a project to keep a close eye on.
