At the beginning of July, GERTENA had announced that their bassist Renka wouldn't be able to perform due to his chronic disease.
"Due to the worsening of his chronic disease, our bassist Renka won’t participate in our performance on July 4th and only the remaining four members will appear on stage.
We’ll inform you if we have any details or progress to let you know.
In addition, there won’t be any refund for the performance.
We apologize for the inconvenience to anyone who was looking forward to the concert.
Once more, we apologize for any trouble this may have caused for making this announcement at the last minute."
About one month later, the band announced that unfortunately Renka would leave them at the end of August.
"We would like to deeply thank you for supporting us on a daily basis.
Renka, who has been undergoing a medical treatment for a chronic disease (lung illness), will now need a long-term treatment and hence will leave the band after our performance on August 24th.

To all the “Elementers” supporting me,
Thank you very much for supporting me so far.
Given I need to undergo a long-term treatment for my disease, I decided to withdraw from GERTENA after our performance on August 24th.
I’ve been looking forward to that day since we formed last December, so it’s frustrating and painful not being able to perform.
Also, I’m personally leaving the band in the middle of my dreams, and this decision makes me feel a lot of pain and disappointment.
From my point of view, GERTENA is a cool band, and I think it's a band that will continue to move forward and reach great heights.
I will leave GERTENA on August 24th, but please do continue to support GERTENA and its members."
Début juillet, GERTENA avait annoncé que son bassiste Renka ne serait pas capable de se produire à cause de sa maladie chronique.
"En raison de l'aggravation de sa maladie chronique, notre bassiste Renka ne participera pas à notre concert du 4 juillet et seuls les quatre membres restants apparaîtront sur scène.
Nous vous informerons si nous avons des détails ou des améliorations à vous faire savoir.
De plus, il n'y aura aucun remboursement pour la performance.
Nous nous excusons pour la gêne occasionnée à tous ceux qui attendaient le concert avec impatience.
Une fois de plus, nous nous excusons pour tout problème que cela a pu causer pour avoir fait cette annonce à la dernière minute."
Environ un mois plus tard, le groupe a annoncé que Renka quitterait malheureusement le groupe fin août.
"Nous tenons à vous remercier sincèrement de nous soutenir au quotidien.
Renka, qui suivait un traitement médical pour une maladie chronique (maladie pulmonaire), aura maintenant besoin d'un traitement à long terme et quittera donc le groupe après notre concert du 24 août.

Merci beaucoup de m'avoir soutenu jusqu'à présent.
Étant donné que je dois suivre un traitement de longue durée pour ma maladie, j'ai décidé de me retirer de GERTENA après notre concert du 24 août.
J'attends ce jour avec impatience depuis que nous nous sommes formés en décembre dernier, donc c'est frustrant et douloureux de ne pas pouvoir jouer.
De plus, personnellement je quitte le groupe en plein milieu de mes rêves, et cette décision me fait ressentir beaucoup de douleur et de déception.
