Five years after their formation, Hitchcock have just announced their disbandment following the arrest of their bassist. Here's a translation of the announcement:
"Thank you for always supporting Hitchcock.
We recently learned that a member of Hitchcock, Yoi, had been arrested.
The charges are currently under investigation.
The office and members have discussed the frequent scandals that happened, and as a result, Hitchcock will disband after their concert on August 20th, 2025 at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM.
We apologize to our fans and the people involved with the band for this sudden announcement.
After our February 20th concert at Ikebukuro BlackHole, we'll continue as a duo, with Karasu and Kou, without Yoi.
There will be no changes to the announced concert schedule.
We hope you'll continue to support us in the time we have left."
