OPHELIA is a visual kei metal band formed in August 2025, centered around vocalist Renka and featuring a lineup of highly talented musicians as support members. The strength of the band lies in their ability to fuse the aggressive energy of metal with the fantastical elements of visual kei to create a unique musical world.
OPHELIA develops a concept centered around “命” (Inochi / life). This approach is notably reflected in a marked alternation between screams, growls, and clean vocals, used to heighten the emotional intensity of its compositions, a vocal signature that quickly began to draw attention.
The band’s first single, “薄明” (Hakumei), released last June, gradually gained visibility through social media and YouTube, helping introduce the project to a wider audience.
Continuing this momentum, OPHELIA unveiled a new track along with its music video, "蒼炎が残す刻印" (Souen ga nokosu kokuin). This second single further explores a darker universe, combining heavy riffs, metal growls and screams, while deepening the identity established in the previous release. Finally, the band announced its first one-man concert, titled “獄炎華,” which will take place on August 25, 2026 at Shinsaibashi CLAPPER in Osaka. An important date that will mark a new step for OPHELIA, ready to further assert its place on the visual kei scene.

Composé d’un line-up de musiciens talentueux réunis en tant que membres de support, le groupe se distingue par une identité mêlant agressivité metal et esthétique propre au visual kei, donnant naissance à un univers musical singulier.

Enfin, le groupe a annoncé son premier concert one-man, intitulé « 獄炎華 », qui se tiendra le 25 août 2026 au Shinsaibashi CLAPPER à Osaka. Une date importante qui marquera une nouvelle étape pour OPHELIA, prêt à affirmer davantage sa place sur la scène visual kei.
