Virge announced that their bassist Yu-ri will be leaving the band in October for health reasons. Below is a translation of their announcement, along with Yu-ri's explanation.

We are sorry to announce that our bassist Yu-ri will be leaving the band on October 10th, 2023, after our one-man show at Chelsea Hotel in Shibuya.
After repeated discussions among the members and the staff, we have decided to respect his wishes. We sincerely apologize for this sudden announcement.
VIRGE will continue its activities as planned. We hope you’ll continue to support us.”

“To the fans who have been supporting us, to the staff, and to everyone who has been involved with us, I apologize for not meeting your expectations and for making this announcement.
There were many fun times, many hard times, and many other things that happened. However, my mental illnesses from long ago worsened, and I often hurt my fans and the members during my activities within the band.
I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to the members of the band, the people at the office, and all the fans who have supported me so far.
After thinking about my future and Virge’s one, I decided that I couldn’t cause any more trouble to the band or to you, and I‘ve come to the conclusion that this is the best solution. I have selfishly decided to stop after our one-man show on October 10th, but I’ll do my best until the end.
I only have a little time left as Yu-ri from VIRGE. The band will continue its activities so I hope you’ll continue to support them.”
