DEVILOOF's drummer, Kanta, suffers from dystonia and won't be able to play for the band for a while. Here is the translation of the official announcement:
"We would like to inform you that our drummer Kanta has been diagnosed with professional dystonia and that he underwent brain surgery as treatment on January 20th.
Since fall 2020, he complained about discomfort in his left foot, and he had some symptoms such as his left foot moving when he didn’t intend to move it, or not moving like he expected. Since the symptoms were growing worse day by day, he decided to undergo surgery.
The surgery ended with success, and he is undergoing rehabilitation and will leave the hospital within the end of the month.
Also, the doctor in charge of his medical examination said that he’ll recover after leaving the hospital and that he should be able to play the drums as before.
We apologize for the worries we caused to our fans who support us, but he will get better so we’re looking forward to the day when we’ll be able to show you a perfect Kanta and DEVILOOF."
