GREN, who had been continuing as a duo for almost a year, have just announced their disbandment. Here's a translation of their announcement and comments from the vocalist and the guitarist.

After discussions between the members and their label staff, it has been decided that GREN will disband at the end of September 2025.
We'd like to thank all the fans and people involved in the band who have supported GREN from the very beginning until now.
There’s only six months left before we disband, and we'll be moving forward, so we hope from the bottom of our hearts that you'll continue to support us."

"I joined “グレン” and experienced many withdrawal of members, even after restarting as “GREN”, and finally we continued to move forward just with the two of us.
We did our best with the help of our support members, but of course we often feel limited in what we can do as a duo, and that's how we got here.

When I realized that I was the only original member left since the band began its activities, I went ahead believing that continuing was the most important thing, but after seriously reflecting on what we should be as an entity offering musical entertainment, we decided that this was the best way to proceed.
Shortly after we started out, the entertainment industry went through a difficult period, and the band went through a lot of changes, but we'd like to thank everyone who has supported us so far, and everyone involved in the band for their support.

"Comme annoncé, GREN tirera sa révérence le 30 septembre 2025.
Quand j’ai réalisé que j’étais le seul membre original restant depuis que le groupe avait commencé ses activités, j’ai continué en croyant que continuer était la chose la plus importante, mais après avoir sérieusement réfléchi sur ce que nous devrions être en tant qu'entité proposant du divertissement musical, nous avons décidé que c'était la meilleure manière de procéder.
Peu après le début de nos activités, l'industrie du divertissement a été confrontée à une période difficile, le groupe a connu de nombreux changements, mais nous tenons à remercier tous ceux qui nous ont soutenus jusqu'à présent et toutes les personnes impliquées dans le groupe pour leur soutien.
