Jigsaw informed their fans that their guitarist Maru would pause his activities from today January 13th, due to some disease. Here is the translation of their official announcement and Maru's comment about it:
"Thank you for supporting Jigsaw.
We have an important announcement for all of you.
On January 9th, our guitarist Maru complained about abdominal pain. He went to the hospital for a medical examination and they decided to hospitalize him. He had an MRI on the 12th, and he has a suspicion of colorectal cancer, so he’s still hospitalized to have more detailed examinations and devote himself to his treatment. Therefore, we are really sorry but Maru will pause his activities within Jigsaw. We also let you know that the PCR test he did during the examination was negative.
Until Maru’s comeback, Jigsaw will continue with Bukimi, Ema and Shiki, while restraining their activities.
We apologize to all our fans and the staff for the troubles and we hope for your understanding.”

The band gave further informations regarding Maru's condition:
"We talked with our guitarist Maru regarding his health condition that we mentioned before.
Result of the examination: he has been diagnosed as having a stage 4 colorectal cancer.
He’ll undergo a surgery tomorrow, and after the surgery he’ll devote himself to his medical treatment based on anticancer drugs.
We apologize for the worries we caused to our fans who supported us so far, but we hope that you’ll keep an eye on us until Maru is totally healed and comes back.”
(We did some research, and it seems that stage 4 is the most advanced stage of colorectal cancer. If you have been diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer, it means that the cancer has metastasized to distant sites, such as the liver or lungs.)

Jigsaw ont informé leurs fans que leur guitariste Maru mettait en pause ses activités dès aujourd'hui 13 Janvier, suite à une maladie. Voici la traduction de leur annonce officielle et de la réaction de Maru à ce sujet :
"Merci de toujours soutenir Jigsaw.
Nous avons une annonce imporante à vous faire.
Le 9 Janvier, notre guitariste Maru s'est plaint de douleurs abdominales. Il s'est rendu à l'hôpital pour un examen médical et ils ont décidé de l'hospitaliser. Il a passé une IRM le 12, et il est suspecté d'avoir un cancer colorectal, il est donc toujours hospitalisé afin de passer d'autres examens plus poussés et de se consacrer à son traitement. Par conséquent, nous sommes vraiment désolés mais Maru met en pause ses activités au sein de Jigsaw. Nous vous informons également que le test PCR qu'il a fait durant l'examen était négatif.

Le groupe a donné de plus amples informations concernant la santé de Maru :
"Nous avons parlé avec notre guitariste Maru de sa santé que nous avons mentionnée plus tôt.
Résultat des examens : on lui a diagnostiqué un cancer colorectal de stade 4.
Il se fera opérer demain, et après l'opération il se consacrera à son traitement médical basé sur des médicaments anticancéreux.
Nous nous excusons pour les inquiétudes causées à nos fans qui nous ont toujours soutenus, mais nous espérons que vous continuerez de garder un oeil sur nous jusqu'à ce que Maru soit totalement guéri et revienne."
(Nous avons fait quelques recherches, et il semblerait que le cancer colorectal de stade 4 soit le stade le plus avancé. Si vous avez été diagnostiqué avec un cancer colorectal de stade 4, cela signifie que le cancer a formé des métastases dans d'autres endroits du corps, tel que le foie ou les poumons.)
