Matenrou Opera - New single "AGONY", MV,19th anniversary one-man and new look - Crimson Lotus

Matenrou Opera celebrated their 18th anniversary with a memorable concert at the Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall, a milestone event for the band, who went on to surprise their fans with several announcements.

The first is already a must-see date for next year: the band revealed that they will celebrate their 19th anniversary on May 4, 2026, with a one-man show at Toyosu PIT.

On the release side, Matenrou Opera had previously announced that they were working on two new singles, scheduled for August and November respectively. The first, titled “AGONY,” will be released on August 15, and will be available at concerts, through the official online store, and on streaming platforms. The music video for the title track is already online on their YouTube channel.

To top it all off, the band has also unveiled a brand-new visual!

Côté sorties, Matenrou Opera avait précédemment révélé travailler sur deux nouveaux singles, prévus respectivement en août et en novembre. Le premier, intitulé "AGONY", paraîtra le 15 août. Il sera disponible lors des concerts, sur la boutique en ligne officielle et sur les plateformes de streaming. Le clip de la chanson titre est d’ores et déjà en ligne sur leur chaîne YouTube.
