Following Takemasa's (gt.) decision to temporarily retire from the band's stage activities in December 2021, then Mahiro's (vo.) decision to take a break due to health problems in December 2022, Kiryu announced that they will be going on hiatus in December 2023, after a one-man show to celebrate the band's 16th anniversary at Zepp Haneda in Tokyo.
The band has just shared some news that will delight their fans: Mahiro and Takemasa will be taking to the stage on that day! Here's the translation of their announcement:
“Thank you very much for supporting Kiryu.
As a result of discussion among the five members, we have decided to welcome back Mahiro and Takemasa, who are currently on hiatus, for the December 18th show at Zepp Haneda. The five members of Kiryu will stand on stage at Zepp Haneda.
We are looking forward to seeing you there.”
Après la décision de Takemasa (gt.) de se retirer temporairement des activités scéniques du groupe en décembre 2021, puis de Mahiro (vo.) de prendre une pause pour problèmes de santé en décembre 2022, Kiryu a annoncé mettre en pause ses activités en décembre 2023, après un one-man donné à l’occasion du 16ème anniversaire du groupe au Zepp Haneda à Tokyo.
Le groupe vient de partager une nouvelle qui réjouira ses fans : Mahiro et Takemasa monteront sur scène ce jour-là ! Voici la traduction de leur annonce :
