En Octobre 2018, Eiji (ba.) avait coupé les ponts avec L-THE WORLD quelques jours avant de revenir s'excuser auprès du groupe et des fans, faisant part de son désir de réintégrer la formation (détails). Toutefois, il a annoncé son désir de définitivement quitter le groupe le 5 Mai dernier. Voici la traduction du message officiel et de celui d'Eiji :
"Le 5 Mai tôt le matin, nous avons reçu une requête de la part d'Eiji stipulant : "Il est difficile pour moi de me concentrer sur mon activité musicale, alors je voudrais me mettre en pause et me recentrer sur moi-même."
Suite à nos discussions, nous respectons son souhait et avons décidé de le laisser quitter le groupe au profit de son futur et de celui du groupe.
Nous sommes profondément désolés envers les fans et les personnes impliquées dans le groupe de faire une telle annonce."

Après mon retour la dernière fois, j'ai repris mes activités avec l'idée que ce que je ressentais allait changer, mais c'était difficile pour moi de rester motiver concernant le groupe, de profiter, et j'ai jugé que je ne pourrais pas travailler pour les activités du groupe avec énergie.
Je m'excuse sincèrement pour les gros désagréments causés aux personnes impliquées dans le groupe et aux personnes qui nous soutiennent, à cause de mes pensées hésitantes et de mon problème d'immaturité. Je suis vraiment désolé.

On October 2019, Eiji (ba.) cut off all contact with L-THE WORLD during a few days before coming back to apologize to the band and the fan, expressing his wish to return to the band. "On May 5th early in the morning, we received a request from Eiji stating "It's difficult to me to focus on musical activities, so I want to pause my current musical activities and face myself".
