DEVILOOF have just announced the release of their first single in a year, “因習” (Inshu), for January 29th, 2025!
The song was inspired by a work set in a village society where customs are deeply rooted. The band worked on its composition for over a year, and describes it as the most difficult performance in the band's history. To reinforce the horror atmosphere, singer Sennzai, who has lent her voice to many game soundtracks, joined the project to sing backing vocals.
The single's cover was created by Yukihisa Tamura, an award-winning painter specializing in gore. It is a hand-painted acrylic painting.
The music video for “Inshu” also features a special guest appearance by actor Tadanobu Asano, who won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor in the “SHOGUN” series!
DEVILOOF vient d'annoncer la sortie de leur premier single depuis un an, "因習" (Inshu), pour le 29 janvier 2025 !
Cette chanson a été inspirée par une œuvre se déroulant dans une société villageoise où les coutumes sont profondément enracinées. Le groupe a travaillé sur sa composition pendant plus d'un an et la décrit comme la performance la plus difficile dans l'histoire du groupe. Afin de renforcer cette ambiance d'horreur, la chanteuse Sennzai, qui a prêté sa voix à de nombreuses musiques de jeu, a rejoint le projet pour chanter les choeurs.
La jaquette du single a été crée par Yukihisa Tamura, un peinter spécialisé dans l'expression gore et qui a remporté divers prix. Il s'agit d'un tableau à l'acrylique peint à la main.
Le clip de "Inshu" n'est pas en reste, puisqu'il comprend l'apparition d'un invité spécial : l'acteur Tadanobu Asano, qui a remporté le Golden Globe Award du meilleur acteur dans un second rôle dans la série "SHOGUN" !
